As a small, independent shop—not a large chain—our inventory may be limited at times. However, we proudly offer consignment, used firearms, and buying and trading options. If you don’t see the firearm you’re looking for, we’re always happy to place a special order to meet your needs.

Incoming Firearms Transfers
$20.00 transfer fee for the first firearm
$5.00 for each additional incoming firearm
$9.00 New York State NICS fee (mandatory)
Ammunition Purchases
New York State requires a mandatory $2.50 fee per transaction
Outgoing Firearms Transfers
$15.00 transfer fee per firearm, plus actual shipping and insurance costs

If you need a firearm transferred into our shop, we are happy to assist. To streamline the process, all transfer requests are handled via email.
Please email the following information to transfers@towersarms.com
Subject Line: FFL Transfer Request
Include:
Your name, address, phone number, and email
The name, address, phone number, and email of the sending dealer or individual
Detailed information about the firearm(s) being transferred
A list of any additional items being shipped with the firearm(s)
If the firearm is being sent by a dealer/FFL, once we verify that their Federal Firearms License is valid, we will email our FFL directly to them.
Processing & Pickup
Processing & Pickup
Once the firearm arrives at Towers Arms, it may take up to one normal business day to process it into our records. After processing is complete, we will contact you by phone and/or email to let you know your firearm is ready for pickup.
Please wait for our notification before coming to the shop. While the shipping carrier’s tracking number may show delivery, this does not indicate that the firearm is ready for pickup.
When picking up your firearm, you must bring a valid federal or state-issued photo ID showing your current physical address.
Note:
Due to our limited store hours and ATF requirements, all incoming firearms must be properly logged into our books within a specified timeframe. This step must be completed before the remainder of the transfer process can proceed.

We only ship firearms to Federally Licensed Firearms Dealers (FFLs)
Please bring the firearm to the shop along with the receiving FFL’s contact information
We also require the end consumer’s name and contact information
